About Me

I received my undergraduate degree in Dietetics from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. After graduating, I completed my Dietetic Internship with Utah State University. In 2011, (two weeks before my due date!) I passed the national exam to become a Registered Dietitian. After taking a few months time to adjust to being a new mother, I started working part time as a consulting dietitian in 2012. I am an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. 


My greatest joy is being a wife and mother and this is the role I take on the majority of my time. However, I love being a dietitian and helping people of all ages improve their health and relationship with food. I love trying to incorporate my knowledge of nutrition into my life and the lives of those I work with.  I've created this blog as a means for me to grow both personally and professionally. I hope this blog can be a useful resource for you and your family as I strive to make living healthy practical for your busy life, sustainable on a tight budget and most importantly absolutely delicious!
